Kelvin Grove offers a wide range of top-class sporting facilities for members of all ages and interests. Whether you’re playing competitively or just for fun, there’s something for everyone.
Enjoy beautifully maintained tennis courts with options for social games, coaching, or league play, and experience a dynamic twist on racquet sports with our new padel courts. Challenge yourself on our professional-standard squash courts, available for both casual and competitive play. Embrace the tradition and skill of lawn bowls or croquet on our immaculate greens, with events held throughout the year. Practice your swing at our on-site golf facilities or take part in regular club competitions. For those who enjoy mental agility, Kelvin Grove’s bridge club offers regular games and a welcoming community. Stay in shape at our fully equipped gym, join a variety of group fitness classes, or work with a personal trainer to meet your individual goals.

Bowls
The Club has two bowling greens. Members interested in joining the bowls section can get contact details for the Bowls Chairperson at Reception.

Bridge
Social bridge takes place every Monday and Friday from 13h30 to 17h00 and Wednesday and Friday at 09h30 – 13h00 in the Cream Lounge. The space is warm in winter, cool in summer, and refreshments can be ordered from the Coffee Shop. No partner or weekly commitment is required – come as often as you like.

Gym
Located next to the gentlemen’s changing rooms at the Pool Bar, the members-only fitness centre is fully equipped and professionally managed. It offers a welcoming atmosphere with free weights, cardio and strength equipment, and a stretching area.

Squash
Kelvin Grove is proud to support national and international squash events. With eight courts and a growing squash section, the Club competes in Western Province leagues, hosts two annual tournaments, and has a full-time resident coach. Members can book courts up to seven days in advance via reception or the online system.

Croquet
Kelvin Grove has two top-rated croquet courts, considered the best in the Western Cape. The club competes in regional leagues and hosts in-house competitions, with social play on Tuesdays and Saturdays year-round.

Tennis
Kelvin Grove is proud to be involved in national and international tennis events. The Club has eleven courts, including eight floodlit and one practice court. Bookings can be made via reception or the online system.

Golf
Kelvin Grove members enjoy preferential rates at the Rondebosch Golf Club, a historically significant 18-hole parkland course, just 15 minutes away. Members also benefit from reciprocity agreements with various other golf courses.

Padel
Kelvin Grove offers a top-tier padel experience with three outdoor courts managed by Padel 365. Open to players of all levels, courts can be easily booked online via Playtomic. With excellent facilities and a vibrant social atmosphere, it’s a premier padel destination in the Western Cape.
