All games shall be played as defined and regulated by the laws of the game as laid down by the South African Croquet Association. |

Members wishing to play croquet may do so on the courts allocated, but only members of the croquet section may take part in organised games. |
| 3. |
The head Groundsman, or in his absence, a member of the Croquet Section Committee, or in his absence, the General Manager of the Club shall decide when the courts are not in a condition for play. |

Except when decided in paragraph (c) above, play on the courts shall be as follows:
DAYS OF PLAY - Will be determined by the Bowls Section Committee from time to time including bounce games, tabs-in or roll-ups.
• Monday: Morning closed; afternoon open
• Tuesday: Morning open, Organised Club play afternoon
• Wednesday am: Open
• Thursday: Open – Large courts
• Friday am: Closed
• Friday pm: Morning closed; afternoon open / Twilight
• Saturday: Morning open; Organised Club play afternoon
• Sunday am: Open except when competitions are organised

On Public Holidays, except Good Friday and Christmas Day, including those which fall on a Monday, the rules of Sunday games will apply. |

Dress shall be white or cream may be worn all the year round, but the recommended colour for the winter period from 1 May to 30 September is navy blue combined with cream or white if so desired. Paler shades of blue may not be worn. No coloured trim or logos.
In April, October and November, either winter or summer dress may be worn, depending on the weather.
Only completely flat shoes which conform to the regulations of the South African Croquet Association may be worn. |

The croquet section shall consist of those members of the Club whose applications, in writing, to join the croquet section have been received. |
| 8. |
At an Annual General Meeting of croquet section, members shall elect, by ballot, a croquet committee to conduct its affairs for the ensuing year. |

The croquet committee shall consist of 7 members. Four of the croquet committee shall form a quorum. |
| 10. |
The croquet committee shall elect its own Chairman, Vice-Chairman, Secretary and Treasurer. The offices of Secretary and Treasurer may be combined. At each General Meeting of the Kelvin Croquet Section, three of the elected members of the Sub-Committee shall retire from office. The members of the Sub-Committee to retire in each year shall be those who have been longest in office since their last election, but as between those who become members of the Committee on the same day, those to retire shall, unless they otherwise agree amongst themselves, be determined by lot |

The croquet committee shall issue appropriate regulations for play. |
| 12. |
The croquet committee may request members of the croquet section to make a contribution towards the running expenses of this section. |
| 13. |
The committee of the croquet section shall constitute a Sub-Committee of the Committee of the Western Province Sports Club in terms of Rule 5(iii) of the Club. All decisions of the Club Committee shall be binding upon it. |
