BRIDGE NEWS
There is very little to report except to say that we have had many happy bridge afternoons this year and to encourage those who do not play bridge to consider taking lessons. It takes at least a year to become a proficient player, but it is well worth the effort. A large number of players enjoy social bridge, whilst those who are competitive prefer duplicate bridge. Whatever your choice, you will be using your brain, you will make lots of new friends, you will have a lot of fun and you will never be lonely.
Members are reminded that social bridge is played on Monday and Friday afternoons in the Cream Lounge from about 13:30 to 17:00. It is not necessary to bring a partner. Unfortunately we do not cater for beginners, but would be more than happy to help those who have not played for a long time.
Best wishes from the Bridge Club to the Committee, to all employees and to our Members for a happy holiday season and a peaceful and healthy New Year. Thank you for all your hard work and for supporting the Club.
