WINE TASTING

We started our 2010 wine tasting season on a very high note with a superb tasting by Journey’s End wines presented by winemaker Leon Esterhuizen.

This relatively new winery, situated in the Stellenbosch / Somerset West area produces excellent wines which are rewarded with high accolades on a regular basis.  Leon also explained how they use the famous Cape South Easter to their benefit to produce the estate’s Cape Doctor Shiraz - the flagship wine of the estate.

This tasting was enjoyed by all who attending, including some of our overseas members.
